Ege Port Kuşadası operates The Port of Kuşadası which was Global Ports Holding’s first acquisition. Situated on the west coast of Turkey, Kuşadası is one of the most appealing towns of the Aegean and is close to many historical sites. The dynamic cruise port and beach resort town of Kuşadası is the gateway to Ephesus, which is among the most visited ancient cities in the Mediterranean.
Ege Port extended its two piers in 2011 and has a total pier length of 1,297m, meaning it can welcome Oasis class ships. With its two finger piers, the port can berth up to four large vessels. It features two roll-on/roll-off ramps and a quay to service ferry traffic.
Ege Port provides full terminal services, marine services and auxiliary services. The modern passenger terminal with duty free shopping areas, a first-aid care facility and a passenger and crew center equipped with internet and other communication facilities provides utmost suitability and comfort for passengers and crew members. The Scala Nuova Shopping Village within the port offers extended shopping, food & beverage opportunities for shopping enthusiasts.
Ege Port was the first port in Turkey to be ISPS compliant, receiving its ISPS certification in 2004. The ISO ISO 9001-14001-45001 certificated port proudly holds a “Green Port” accreditation since 2015 as well.
In July 2003, the operation rights of the Port of Kuşadası, which includes pilotage, tugging, mooring, sheltering, security, fresh water supply, waste collection, passenger terminal services, and diving and bunkering services to cruise ships and ferries visiting the port were transferred to Global Ports Holding.
Kuşadası offers a wonderful contrast between the excitement of a lively holiday destination and the serenity of ancient ruins. Situated on the west coast of Turkey, 90 km south of Izmir, Kuşadası remains one of the most appealing towns of the Aegean. Indeed, the dynamic cruise port and beach resort town of Kuşadası is the gateway to Ephesus, which is among the most visited ancient cities anywhere in the Mediterranean. It’s also close to the House of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which creates further tourism appeal. With the typical Mediterranean climate of hot summers and mild winters, the region enjoys a long tourism season, and without doubt, Kuşadası is one of Turkey’s most beautiful holiday destinations.
